When you received Jesus Christ, God established a personal relationship between you and Himself. You become a child of God (John 1; 12). You have become holy because all your sins have been forgiven - (Colossians 2:13).
Before you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you were in control of your own life. However when you received Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit came to live within you. The Holy Spirit makes it possible for every Christian to live a victorious life.
