Great Commission Movement of Nigeria is an affiliate ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International (CCCI), which was founded in 1951 by Bill and Vonette Bright on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles. It is an international Christian organization.
In the year 1969, Rev. Yemi and Sue Ladipo pioneered the ministry in Nigeria on the campus of the University of Lagos under the name “Great Commission Movement,” - it was the norm with the ministry to adopt a locally acceptable name in whichever of the over 190 countries Campus Crusade for Christ is registered.
Our calling is to help fulfill the Great Commission by winning, building, and sending in the power of the Holy Spirit and helping the Body of Christ do evangelism and discipleship.
Our mission is to position and empower teams of mission-minded people in the 36 States and Federal Capital Territory who Win, Build, and Send Christ-centered Multiplying Disciples to reach each State with the Gospel and raise labourers and resources for the global harvest.

Like so many in the Christian world, we were initially saddened upon hearing that God had called Dr. Billy Graham home.
Can we rely on God to help us? How much? Is He really someone we can turn to in times of crisis as well as times of calm?
